Adopt A US Soldier receives hundreds of letters of praise and thanks from both our deployed troops and our supportive volunteers citizens. These testimonials
help to show how much good a kind word, a supportinjg letter, or a special project to honor our troops can actually do.

Here you’ll find actual letters written to Adopt A US Soldier and its volunteers describing exactly how much difference just a supportive letter, or a care package from home can make in the life of a soldier. You will also read touching stories by the volunteers of Adopt A US Soldier detailing how positive the experience of adopting their own soldier has been.

A Thank You to A School

Bear Canyon Elementary decided to donate their Halloween candy to our troops. Little did they know that it will be 453 pounds of candy! Great job Bear Canyon!

"Dear Bear Canyon Elementary School Students,
I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank all of you kids, parents, and faculty for remembering those serving our country during this special time of year. Your support of the men and women serving in uniform speaks highly of your character and values. It is amazing to know how many great people are out there who care about our Soldiers.
I would like to extend my appreciation for the large boxes of candy and picture notes we received. Your generosity and well wishes have lifted our spirits at a time when we’re away from our Family and friends this holiday season. It makes us proud to know that our fellow Americans care so much about us and that our sacrifices are not forgotten.
