Thanks,

...we can take home to them
I would like to adopt a soldier because I think this is the best way for them to know what is really happening back home and we can take home to them.

Our department at work would like to adopt a soldier.
Our department at work would like to adopt a soldier. We would like to start with one and if it goes add another. There are about 25 of us. So we anticipate being able to handle more as time goes on. This is very exciting and we are looking forward to showing our support.

My brownie troop would like to adopt a female US soldier stationed in Iraq or Afghanistan.
My brownie troop would like to adopt a female US soldier stationed in Iraq or Afghanistan. We will send letters and care packages throughout the year. Someone who lives in the North Jersey area is preferable so hopefully someday the girls can meet the soldier in person and/or communicate with her family here.
Thanks,

Thank YOU for this program! It’s so easy for those of us, sitting in relative comfort, to forget our young men & women, who are not so fortunate.
I’ve e-mailed Michael R. & I’m getting his first letter going. Thank YOU for this program! It’s so easy for those of us, sitting in relative comfort, to forget our young men & women, who are not so fortunate. Thank you for providing us with a method to express, to them, our support & gratitude.

I was wanting to let you know that I’ve recieved my soldiers information. I sent my first care package, which was very exciting, to Bryan L. I haven’t sent one to Ron G. because I just got his info. today. I did send him a letter today, I’m just waiting to hear back from him. I hear from Bryan a lot and he’s always glad to hear from me. I really enjoy this program, It’s exciting to know that there’s something we can do to show appreciation and our support. It’s a wonderfull web site, and I’m glad I joined. I have been telling everyone about it, encouraging them to do the same.
Sincerely,

I have wanted to do this for a really long time
I have wanted to do this for a really long time but I always ended up at some goofy dating service thing that I wanted nothing to do with. I actually found this on myspace. I’m happy to do it and I’m telling everyone I can about it. I own a small beauty salon in south jersey and I am going to put up a flyer in my salon. I will do anything I can that would be uplifting to the troops.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to help out.

Hi, I heard about AAUSS by a co-worker
Hi, I heard about AAUSS by a co-worker. She came to work telling us how she adopted a soldier and how excited she was. She told us everything she had learned from her soldier. I was so so excited just hearing her talk I wanted to learn more. I hope that I can make a difference in someones life over there. Thank you so much. Amy J.
