1) Click on the “soldiers sign up” tab and read the important information at the top of the page
2) Read the “Privacy Policy” and “Terms of Service”
3) Then, check “I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy ”  and click ” I agree. Sign me up to get adopted”

How much does it cost to adopt a service member?

We do NOT ask for any donation to be a part of our program. We just ask for patience while you wait for your service member’s contact information, and to make sure you can send weekly letter to your service member if you hear from them or NOT.

Your participation is up to you outside of those weekly letters. We welcome you to brighten your service member’s day by sending a package. Our Forums and Official AAUSS Facebook pages have some great ideas.

If you do wish to donate to our program, we use donations to grant unit requests for items like sporting equipment, recreation room items, hygiene products, snacks etc. Feel free to click on the donation tab or here.

How Much Does It Cost to Ship Boxes?

If you are sending heavy things, a flat rate mailer might be best as it is one price. You can order APO box which is the same as a large flat rate mailer. There is a $2 discount most times when shipping these to an APO/FPO. If you fill out and pay online, it can be less. Here is a price calculator through USPS.

If you are sending a large amount of items, we suggest a larger box and ship it ground through the USPS. The price will change depending on where you are located. This is how we send our boxes.

Project Frontines is for one time or short term support. You will signup and send any items to that unit with the first month and no later than 2 months.

Please put your name and contact information in the package when you send it.

Can I Email the Unit Given to Me Through Project Frontlines?

No. We do not give out the unit contact’s email as this will be very overwhelming to that contact. They have their deployment job to do as their first priority. You are asked to send your contact information in the package or letter you send. If the service member contacts you and provides that information, you are welcome to continue cooresponding.
