We want to wish all of our supporters and especially our troops a wonderful Thanksgiving! Be safe, think of our troops and send a letter today.
We would like to wish everyone serving today or in the past a wonderful Veterans Day! We honor and appreciate the sacrifices you make each day! Take a moment to list to Jeff Batson’s song, March On. We have paired up with Jeff to spread the word about AAUSS.
Thank you Susan Fidler, our Indiana Ambassador, for your long hours today sharing about AAUSS! We appreciate your hard work and dedication. Here are some words from Susan:
“Well it’s been a long but good day. Just spent from 11am to 7pm sharing information about Adopt A US Soldier and collected lots of signed cards for a currently deployed airman in my Sunday school class. I didn’t have to worry about driving over any IEDs on my way to the event. I didn’t have to worry about suicide bombers either. Didn’t even have to worry about any snipers while I unloaded my stuff. I only had to carry a table and roll in a tote full of supplies instead of carrying an 80lb ruck on my back. It was hot in the gym but it wasn’t 120 degrees. I didn’t have to miss anyone’s birthday, bedtime prayers, or first steps while I was there. I didn’t even miss any holidays. I only had to miss my family for 8 hours…not 8 months. Yep…I had a really good day. Remember our troops and the endless sacrifices they make for us every day. Remember our veterans!!!”
Some thanks from afar!
“My supporters were awesome. There was constant communication going on and it really helped me stay positive and push through the deployment. My shipmates also were uplifted because of the care packages that kept coming. Thank you so much for what you do!”
” I’ve been in contact with my supporters. They are all amazing people! Thank you for everything that you guys do! I appreciate it! I will encourage my battle buddies to register as well. Take care! God bless!”
” I have been receiving good support. I can not complain at all. It is nice to talk to people even if it through email. You are wonderful people and it’s always a joy to receive a little something from home. I attached a pic for you all. It’s not the best but still
looks ok LOL. I took the pic as we were getting ready to go on a flight.”
Congratulations Jordan Adolph, Colorado Ambassador and Adoption Admin, for her interview on 9 News. Jordan has organized a package drive at her school November 12 - 15. Thanks for your dedication Jordan. We are proud of you!
